Today, psychedelics are making a comeback in “serious” scientific circles for their medical and therapeutic properties. Recently the FDA has declared psychedelics such as MDMA and psilocybin as breakthrough therapies. Many medical professionals have begun calling for legalization of psychedelics for many of the same reasons that cannabis has begun to be legalized across the world.
An aspiration is a belief that there is something “out there” that we do not yet “have” but which we “need” to make us happy. An aspiration can cause us to feel dissatisfied about who we are right now, because we haven’t achieved this or that. An inspiration is different – it makes us feel good right now in this moment. An inspiration is not something we don’t have, it is something we already had, or are in the process of having.
If you aren’t trying to create your life, it will be created for you on a level that is less conscious and more susceptible to interference.
Mainstream society has convinced us to dismiss our imagination as an undesirable aberration or chemical imbalance in our brain. But what if they are wrong? What if our imagination is the key to optimizing our human experience?
