Meditation on the Move: A Beginner’s Guide to Walking Meditation

Meditation is one of the most effective ways to relieve stress, relax our bodies and quiet our busy minds. But with busy work schedules, family responsibilities and other demands in our day-to-day lives, it can be challenging to find time for a regular practice. Walking meditation is an excellent alternative for incorporating a practice into the gaps in our busy lives. It can be performed anytime you’re walking, whether that is from your car to your home, while in nature or during a leisurely evening stroll through your neighborhood.

Take care of your heart…

How do you take care of your heart? What did you do today to keep your heart healthy both emotionally and physically?

I don’t mean to sound too serious (though I really should) but heart disease is the leading cause of death in both men and women. The most common type of heart disease is coronary artery disease. Arteries get blocked by “plaque” and your coronary arteries become narrowed or blocked. Then your heart cannot get enough oxygen rich blood. This blockage can result in chest pain, called angina. You can also have pain occuring in your shoulders, arms, neck, jaw, or back.

Reclaiming Your Body Confidence

There are very few things worse than constantly feeling unhappy or even ashamed of your body. I personally have very few friends who can say that they are 100% satisfied with their bodies. There is always something that needs to be changed. Something that needs to be trimmed. Something that needs to be added.

It’s not surprising that weight loss, diet and fitness industries are still growing rapidly today. However, what is the purpose of being in good shape? What is the real motivation for many people to achieve their peak form? Why are they willing to try any (even most insane) diet and workout regimen out there after their attempts have already failed several times?

The Actual Secrets to a Lean and Toned Body in 30 Minutes a Day (Part 2)

How much do you have to work out to get a lean and toned body?

A lot of people believe that living in a gym is the only way to get the body of their dreams. This myth becomes an excuse for many people not to work out (what’s the point in working out 10-20 minutes a day if it won’t bring any results?)

I found out that long workouts are not crucial to getting in good shape. Sometimes 30-minutes a day is everything you need to get that lean and toned body.

The Secrets to a Lean and Toned Body in 30 Minutes a Day (part 1)

>Do you want to look great? Are you ready to spend a few hours every day in a gym? I am pretty sure that you answered yes to the first question and rolled your eyes when I mentioned the second one. It’s a normal reaction and I am right there with you.

I must confess, I love to stay fit and healthy. It is one of my passions in life. At the same time I am just a normal person who has to work, take care of the family and likes to be lazy every once in a while (actually, at least once a week.) Now, is it possible for normal people like you and me to stay in good shape without sacrificing our lifestyles?
