@ April G
You can always try Youtube Pilates workouts - there is a lot to choose from.
As far as DVDs here are some that I have watched and liked:
Louise Solomon's Yoga & Pilates: Total Body Toner - it's a combination of Yofa and Pilates, I think it's very good for beginners
Pilates for Pink Workout by Mari Winsor - this one uses a resistance band and it even comes with one, so you will already have a Pilates equipment at home.
10 Minute Solution: Pilates with Lara Hudson - it shows the basics, just what you need to try it. You can find all of these DVDs on Amazon.
By the way, you can also watch my video http://www.balanceinme.com/blog/-2-2-2/pilates-for-a-strong-back-video/ though it's more of an advanced workout.
I am planning to create a few Pilates videos for beginners in the nearest future so just subscribe to my RSS or just stop by later this month.
And thanks for your interest in Pilates. I hope it will work for you. If you have any questions - feel free to ask.
